The end of the world is nigh!
“As Christians we have the expectation of the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
What the bible says
1 Thess 1:9-10 … “waiting for the Son from Heaven”.
Acts 1:11 … Jesus will return from heaven in the same way that they saw him go into heaven.

1 Thess 4… confused about the detail of the timing.
2 Peter 3
John 14:1-3, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”
What should we expect when Jesus does return?

… no one will know the day or the hour
3) When Jesus returns there will be a complete transformation
… a complete transformation.

How then should we live as we wait for the return of Jesus?
1) Do not waste our time
2) Do not forget – 2 Peter 3:8
Matthew 23:42 …keep watch.
3) Have a clear gospel focus – 2 Peter 3:8
