What an utter disaster it would be if they went back to the old ways
Since Jesus is better
Verse 14 … “let us hold firmly to the faith we profess”
… do not let go of Jesus to go back to your Old testament religion.
How might we be tempted to let go of our faith in Jesus?
Why Jesus is better?
Jesus is the sinless mediator between us and God the Father.
Approaching the throne of grace
Heb 4:16, “Let us approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we will receive mercy and find grace in our time of need”.
For us today
1) We need to put our trust in the right mediator before God
2) Hold firmly to Jesus
3) If you do then you can approach throne of grace with confidence
