Cheese truth and Bus truth

The Trinity

God is triune – Father, Son and Holy Spirit unified in the Godhead.

What does the statement mean?

One God, three persons.
The Creed of Athanasius

we worship one God in trinity and Trinity in unity. Neither confounding the persons; nor dividing the substance.

Coexist, Coeternal, Coequal.

What does the Bible say about it?

Firstly, only one God

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Deut 6:4

You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. James 2:19

See also Exodus 3:13-15, 20:2-3 2, 1 Cor 8:4,6, 1 Tim 2:5-6

Secondly, God is also plural

Then God said, ‘‘Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule… Gen 1:26

Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other. Gen 11:7

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us? Isaiah 6:8

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19

Not separate names

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 2 Cor 13:14

See also Acts 2:33-38, Luke 24:49, Jude 20-21, 1 Peter 1:1-2

Are all three are divine?

The Father is divine

One God, the Father from whom all things come from. 1 Cor 8:6

Matthew 6:26-32

Jesus is divine

Jesus obviously thought he was divine.
Scripture promised the Messiah would be divine
See Isaiah 9:6, John 20:30-31 Mark 1:1, Heb 1:3,

The Spirit is Divine

Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to men but to God. Acts 5:3
