In the beginning was the Word and the word was with God and the Word was God, he was with God in the beginning. John 1:1
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14
Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presences of his disciples which are not recorded in this book but these are written that you might believe the Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and that by believing you might have life in his name. John 20:30-31
The response of the Jews in the temple
At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds. Verse 59
For us today
- Do not forget his offer or who he is.
verse 51, “I tell you the truth, if anyone keeps my word he will never see death”. - His offer enables us to rethink how we live completely
- Who we will be accountable to
John 8:50 – He is judge.
