What does it MEAN to say ‘Jesus is the Messiah’?
- He is not a messiah who conforms to our worldview or expectations.
- ‘I and the Father are one’ – God has come amongst us.
- God is acting in ways that exceed what we can imagine.
- The Messiah is one to whom we either draw near, or distance ourselves.
