When it comes to the Christian Christmas story how important is it for you to remember?
… too common.
… tired, distracted, flat out and stressed
… just for the children
… we feel that it is fictional
What might cause you to make the extraordinary story of Christmas sound only ordinary?
A fly on the wall
God intervenes … again
Joseph’s only option is to quietly divorce Mary
Verse 21, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son and you are to give him the name Jesus because he will save people from their sins”.
Did we really need Jesus?
Sin … a debt that needs to be paid to God.
Sin … stain that needs to be removed
… so that we can now stand before God with confidence.
So how true is it?
Is the extraordinary truth about Jesus real in the way that you live?
