What is this faith like?
Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we cannot see.
The hall of faith
A long list of others who have gone before us who have trusted God at his word.
… not how “full of faith they were” but “who it is they put their faith in.”

Some things to notice about faith
a) Faith does not make God our geni
b) Faith does not mean we will not have scars
c) Faith is focussed on heaven
verses 39-40.
For us today
1) Get faith right
2) Do not lose faith, be real about it
3) Stand firm in the face of opposition
