Ephesians 1:15-23 – Come And Know God Better
For this reason…
- Paul’s joyful prayer is a response to news of their faith.
- To feel this kind of reward, invest in the gospel and people.
- The challenge: how might we do that?
I pray that your eyes may be opened…
- Our biggest hindrance in faith is undervaluing it.
- The response is not to work harder, but to pray harder.
- Pray that we will understand what he’s done.
- Pray that we will know him better.
- The challenge: how do we as a church pray about faith?
Learning to love what you have
- This is the gift to all believers – not just some.
- Know the hope that you have.
- Know your glorious inheritance.
- Know his power.
The power of God
- God’s power… not necessarily fireworks to will win the world over.
- God’s power is shown in raising Christ.
- God’s power is seen in Jesus’ reign.
- That power is for his church.
For this reason… what will we do?
