Is the Law good to have?
Ps 19:7-8, it is described as perfect, trustworthy, right, radiant.
… revives the soul, it makes the simply wise, it gives joy to the heart and light to the eyes.
Romans 7:7. “What then shall we say, Is the Law sinful?”
“you must be joking”
How is the Law good?
Romans 7:7… the God given Law is good.
Firstly, God’s law is good because it tells me what God likes in me.
Romans 7:7, “I would not have known what sin was except through the law”
… how I can offer the parts of my body to serve my new master
Secondly, it also reveals to me constantly that I need His grace for my salvation.

Verse 9, law awakens sin in my life.
… no amount of OT laws will ever save me.
For us today
Firstly, change the way we deal with the problem of sin in our lives.
Secondly, the OT Law is not to be dismissed as ‘not of any use’.
Thirdly, “The problem with the world is …?”
