Genesis 15:1-21/Romans 4:13-25.
What do people think of faith these days?
1. God’s salvation is for all – v13-17a
- not just Jews not just wasp’s
2. Salvation is by faith. But what is faith?
Abraham’s faith… v17b-22
- Was In God
- Declared I am helpless to save myself
Meant trusting God would keep his promise
3. God’s saving ways haven’t changed v22-25
We are saved by faith
We trust in God’s promise- fulfilled in Jesus
We are justified through faith in Christ
Faith is “being fully persuaded that God had the power to do what he had promised” – Romans 4:21.
Are you fully persuaded?
