The danger of chasing our natural desires
Does grace mean we can do whatever we wanted to? … And just ask God to forgive us?

The Fruit the Spirit brings
a) A process that normally takes time.
b) A reflection of how healthy that tree is.
… serve one another in love (v 13-14)
… not gratify (v16, 19-21)
… Spirit produced fruit (v 22-23)
What is the fruit that the Spirit will produce in your life as you obey God’s word?
v 22-23 – “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
1 Peter 1:8 “inexpressible and glorious joy at receiving the goal of our faith, the salvation of our souls.”
Improving our fruit production
a process with a direction not a time scale.

… immerse yourself in
James 4:7, “Submit yourself to God, resist the devil and he will flee away from you”
