REFINE YOUTH

REFINE is a combined youth event where groups from around the city come together for a great night of fellowship.  It’s held at Temple Christian College in the city and we car pool to travel down together.

This means a slightly longer night for our youth, as we need to meet at church to car pool down to the venue, then return to church for pickup after.  We will leave at 6:15 pm from the church, so youth will need to be there by then – and we will be back at 10:15 pm.  Car pooling space is limited – so if you are planning to make use of that, could you please let Dave know as soon as possible.  If this is too much of a late night, don’t worry – we’ll be back as usual the week after!

SWAT Youth is our youth group for Year 7 to Year 12.

We aim to look at the world from a Christian point of view, to see what the Bible says about God and about how we might know him. It is a great time to gather, laugh, eat, grow, hangout and have a bunch of fun. Each week we enjoy games, exploring who Jesus is in the Bible, chatting, eating and so on.

We also run Bible studies during the week. These are a great way to explore and discuss God’s Word, and to encourage each other.

All our leaders have police checks and have done all legally required Child Safe Training. The safety of our youth is a top priority.
