The Resurrection Of Jesus

1 Corinthians 15:1–34

A truth worth while living for
“We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead”.
1 Cor 15:14, if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.
verse 19,  if only for this life we have hope in Christ then we are to be pitied more than all people.
Evidence for Resurrection (http://citybibleforum.org/city/adelaide/episode/fact-or-fiction-resurrection-fairytale)

1)  The Resurrection shows the bible is true
Luke 24:27
… asked Pilate to seal the tomb and post a guard outside the tomb. Matthew 27:62-66

2)  The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is essential
Romans 4:25, “He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life from our justification”.
Rom 8:33-34, “Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus who died – more than that, who was raised to life – is at the right hand of God and is interceding for us

3)  The Resurrection of Jesus secures our future under Jesus rule
Ephesians 1:20, “raising Jesus from the dead and seating at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in this present age but also in the age to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church.
Phil 2:9-11,  After his death on the cross, God the Father exalted Jesus and gave him the name that is above all names, that at the name of Jesus very knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Acts 17:30-31, “In the past God has overlooked such ignorance, but now he has commanded all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead.
