1 Cor 15:54-57 (quoting Is 25:8) – “When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”
55 “Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Praise God … in all things
1 Peter 1:6-7 – “In this you greatly rejoice though now for a little time you may have to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that you faith of greater worth than gold which perishes even though refined by fire will be proved genuine and will result in praise glory and honour when Jesus Christ is revealed.”
